Miss Universe Tanzania 2012 to be dressed by New York Designer, Tony Bowls!

New York based fashion designer Tony Bowls is the official designer of Winfrida Dominique - Miss Universe Tanzania 2012’s competition evening gown and will also dress her in some occasions including cocktails. “We are absolutely delighted that Tony Bowls has agreed to be the official designer of our pageant winner in the international finals in Las Vegas” said Maria Sarungi Tsehai – national director of Miss Universe Tanzania. “With Tony Bowls’ exceptional designs, we are confident that Winfrida Dominique will shine in the finals” Sarungi added: “We are also very grateful for the coordination and dedication of New York based stylist Rosemary Kokuhilwa, who helped to coordinate this wonderful partnership with Tony Bowls and who also has styled Winfrida for the competition.”

On his part, Tony Bowls said: “Dressing young women like Miss Universe Tanzania is always an exciting time to me. To have the opportunity to be a part of someone's journey like competing for Miss Universe is a blessing and great memory of my own. I feel very special to have been chosen as official designer for Miss Tanzania”. His dresses have been worn by various celebrities including Brilla, Carrie Underwood, Katrina Law, Disney star Coco James. Winfrida Dominique has arrived in the United States of America on Sunday to compete with 90 other beauty queens from around the world in the finals of Miss Universe - the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world. The final competition will be held December 19th, 2012 at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, USA.
