The 2013 F.A.C.E. List Awards To Honor Pan-African Achievements In NewYork City This June

New York, NY- May 20, 2013- Face2faceAfrica is devoted to burnishing the image of Africa within the Diaspora. The Forbes Featured multi-media company established the F.A.C.E. List Awards in 2011 as a platform for the acknowledgement and celebration of pan-African Achievements. The annual awards spotlights and honors distinguished individuals of pan-African descent who have made a significant and notable impact in their respective fields   
                              
This year’s distinguished six honorees include the Executive Director of the Economic Comission for Africa Dr. Carlos Lopes, Founder and CEO of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Madam Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Founder and Publisher of The network Journal Aziz Adetimirin, Fashion Designer Korto Momolu, Founder of the African Development Foundation George Ntim, and Actress Jackie Appiah.

This year’s show is full of activities, including an opportunity for the public to nominate a young person of African decent for the coveted Young African Committed to Excellence (Y.A.C.E.) Award. Award is presented by Arik Airlines.
The 2013 F.A.C.E. List Awards, proudly sponsored by State FarmArik AirlinesETV and F2FA Magazine, will take place on June 15, 2013 at the exquisite Times Center in the New York Times Building, and will benefit Raising Hope foundation for their work with orphans in Africa. The star-studded black tie event will commence at promptly 7pm with a reception /red carpet, followed by the award ceremony from 8pm-10pm.
