Happy Birthday renowned Fashion Designer,Khadija Mwanamboka

 Today a few years back,this woman with a huge heart and amazing kindness,was born. Named Khadija Mwanamboka,she is one of the fashion designing icons of Tanzania, having contributed much in shaping and developing the fashion industry in this country. I grew up hearing her name associated with everything Tanzanian fashion, and its such an honor to say she is my acquittance.

 Khadija is one inspirational figure when it comes to entrepreneurship for women. She works with OXFAM Tanzania for the Grow campaign,among other things. Ooh and just last week,she launched her new Shopping Center for Organic Food!

 

With all that happening, her passion for designing is still close to her heart...

Being the Chairperson of Tanzania Mitindo House which features a number of Tanzania renowned designers, Khadija also manages an Orphanage.

Today,Ladies and Gentlemen, we celebrate Khadija Mwanamboka's birthday. May you grow to blow many more candles,my dear sis... Mapenzi Tele!
