Learn to LOVE your Physical Self- Body Confidence

Most women struggle with negative thoughts about their appearance on a daily basis and we can all agree that we've all have had those thoughts at some point in time.
But what if you have those thoughts constantly to the point of affecting your daily life activities and decisions?....
Many surveys conducted have shown that most girls (women) stop doing something they love or that will benefit them because they feel bad about how they feel.

Sooo, this demon is real!! how do we fight it??

What is body confidence?
Body confidence is generally how a person feels about the way they look, when we have body confidence we accept and are happy with how we look and what our bodies can do.
A body confident woman feels free to express herself,, dream big and follow her dreams and utilize her potential.

Why body confidence?

  1. Body confidence is a major factor to self esteem which is the way you think and feel about yourself and how do you value yourself.
  2. With body confidence, you will have better relationship with your family and friends.
  3. You become more confident (obviously lol) in voice your opinion.

Body confidence Tips
There are so many things that you can do to improve your confidence, here are some of my favorites tips that you can apply

  • Stop comparing yourself 
There is only one of you in the whole word so remember you are unique and beautiful just the way you are. We are all different in our own ways do you might as well start feeling good about yourself

  • Identify body parts
Doing this will help you focus on all the positve sides of yourself and strength which will boost your confidence level fast

  • Hold yourself to a higher standard 
Always think the best of yourself, find or ask people to tell you about your good qualities and strengths then write them in post-its or any easily visible place so it can remind of what a beautiful person you are! 

  • Action before appearance 
Instead of thinking of how well you are body parts are not structured think of how well they enable you and be thankful. So next time when you are thinking of your thick arms think of how they enable you to prepare a delicious meal!!

  • Smile
A universal cure for every demon and disease! As you smile more even when you are faking it you are telling yourself your happy and free and thus you will become confident.

There it is, my best tips of how to become body confident. I know you are probably thinking easier said than done but remember "Confidence is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets".
