 This week I bring you more of where we left of last week.just set back and relax as we go through fashion memory lane .

1.      THE 10^TH ANNIVERSARY OF SWAHILI FASHION  WEEK

When something is sooo good.We tend to lose track of Time ,2017 has been a historic year, as we marked the 10^th anniversary of Swahili fashion week,one of the biggest fashion event in East and central Africa.This year’s event featured a lot of designers and models from different parts of Africa.we got a chance to shop at the Pop up shop ,enjoy the 3 day fashion shows from the 1^st to 3^rd December and had a chance to vote for our favorite nominees in different SFW awards categories .Congratulations to all the winners and organizers of Swahili fashion week.

2.      MTANI NYAMAKABABI SHOE LINE

   We have known Mtani Nyamakababi from being one of the leading menswear designers ,his bespoke suits and sixpack boxes made Tanzania wanting more and more from him,Mtani decided to choose 2017 as the year to release his shoe line on 29th September 2017 at Hyatt Kilimanjaro Hotel ,a collection of original  leather shoes with different colors and designs like Monk-strap,chealsea boots,oxford,slip on style “Penny Loafer” .Mtani truly is that guy who’s star is shinning each day.as the matter of fact  2017 will be in the heart of Mtani ,especially after winning  the Swahili fashion week award as best Menswear designer of the year 2017.congratulations Mtani.keep shining Bro!

3.      HERIETH PAUL AT THE VSFS IN SHANGHAI   2017

This year ,one of Tanzania’s international supermodel Herieth Paul,made us belive that ,Hard work pays,the 22 year old Mrembo.Did it again !after walking for the Victoria Secrets annual fashion show back in 2016 in Paris France,this year she got a chance to walk again ,in Shanghai China at the Mercedes Benz arena on the 20^th November 2017 where the show was taped and was  aired on the 28^th November 2017,we saw how our Tanzanian Mrembo conquered  the runway alongside the Sudanese model Grace Bol both wearing amazing pieces from Victoria secrets in collaboration with BALMAIN .Herieth keeps making us proud each day, cant wait to see what 2018 holds foe this gorgeous supermodel.

 

4.      SWALHA MSABAHA,Style and beauty event

    Swalha Msabaha ,a Tanzanian fashion stylist,image consultant,personal shopper,digital influencer ,entrepreneur .Yaani her Insta Bio says it all.This year on 29^th October at Serena Hotel,Marquee in Dar es salaam,she hosted a style and beauty event ,where fashion lovers got a chance to pop champagne and just celebrate fashion and style.among the big names that attended was Tanzania’s award winning stylist Noel Ndale and his I cant describe outfit,Lol! Other names like The Nigerian Stylist Veronica Odeka ,Abby plaatje,Nasreen Karim,Faraja Nyalandu,jackline Mengi,Nancy Sumari and not forgetting our very Own Missie Popular.
