Strong Women from a Legendary School- Weruweru Golden Girls

I am PROUD to be a Weruweru Golden Girl! Not because I was taught discipline, being smart, punctuality, innovation, creativity and so much more....BUT mainly because WHAT was taught to me got instilled IN me and make me the kind of a Golden Girl I am,today. This sentiment is shared by all Weruweru Golden Girls from the era of Asumpta College to the ones graduating these 2000's years.
And strong women it has groomed! Weruweru at 50 years has seen the growth of such a dynamic group of strong and creative women in Tanzania....
Did you know that the FIRST Tanzanian Female Pilot is a Weruweru Golden Girl? Yes...her name is Elizabeth Olotu...As we met again this Sunday at Cine Club (owned by a Weruweru Golden Girl)...the Weruweru Alumni had one fun Sunday evening! We discussed the way forward for our school, the fundraising event scheduled for September 21st in Moshi..and so much more.
In case you are a Weruweru Golden Girl and you missed this, poleeee
