Dar es salaam, 12thth December, 2013 – Hemedi Khalida famous known as Mkwere through Mizengwe comedy show has been appointed ambassador for a no name campaign where by a new telecom operator decide to launch without a name and asking public to give the name. Mkwere will drive the campaign asking Tanzania’s to participate on this opportunity through prints and electronics media plus street campaigns.
You can nominate your name through logging on to www.giveusaname.net , sending an SMS with your preferred name to the short code 15678 or logging on towww.facebook.com/giveusanameafrica . In phase two of the campaign, panel will review all the names and shortlist the top 5 most nominated, unique or creative names. East Africa will now have to vote for the best name that will eventually become the name of the first ever truly East African telecom.
