For my Fellow Naturalistaz- What is "Protective Styling"

I hear a lot about this phrase,"Protective Styling". Especially when I meet those who CLAIM to be naturalistaz but all the time you find them with WIGZ,WEAVES,BRAIDS etc... And then I met Naturally Philo...daaaayuuum gal! She said all the right words! ENJOY
