Are Arusha Designers more creative and serious than Dar es Salaam Designers?

During the Maridadi Show 2012, I noticed one major issue that made me raise this question, Are Arusha designers more creative than those found in Dar es Salaam? .....Let me start from the beginning;

In Dar es Salaam, we are used to seeing a designer showcasing the same collection in three to four different shows. We are also used to seeing pieces made out of African prints like Khanga/Kitenge...BUT in a design that you see on Vera Wang and other International designers' collections. If that is not enough, we are used to seeing very simple designs in colorful prints that we applause as "the best"...since it is something new in Dar es Salaam. BUT, now take a look at these pieces;
 When I saw these collections from Arusha designers, one thing was clear. They take TIME to create their pieces, they CONCENTRATE on the details of the designs, and most of all, they CREATE pieces of International standards and not designs for a QUICK SALE.
 For instance, this is a simple blanket. But, It is a hand sewn blanket that has meaning, style and anyone who buys it will feel like a proud owner of such work
 Would you believe that THIS is not a ready-made dress, BUT a designer piece from a Tanzanian designer?! Look at the details of the back of the dress... a mixture of sequin and beads all sewn to make different shapes that accessories this dress.
 Need I say more?

 Just see for yourself and feast your eyes... Do you see what I see?

 Maasai inspired wedding dress.
 Bottom line,  the Arusha designers have an upper hand on the creativity, seriousness and even the time used in making their designs/collections. I am even more convinced that Dar es Salaam designers create their pieces for the retail market for a quick easy sale than those in Arusha, and even Diana Magesa of Morogoro. Do you agree with me?

The above collections are by Treasure Box and Mama Momela. Thank you Arusha, you showed us another side of Tanzanian designs.
