Pledge for Gender Parity,Today!

The Gender Parity Conference will take place on the 6^th of March 2016 at the Hyatt Kilimanjaro Hotel from 9am to 1pm and will be attended by gender stakeholders and influencers who will  share and inspire each other, showcase and train on what has been achieved so far since The Beijing Conference 20 years ago, highlight existing gaps and challenges and how we all can play a role to accelerate the needed change.

The Pledge for Parity walk will take place on the 5th of March 2016 from the ‘Goat Race Grounds’, popularly known as ‘Uwanja wa Farasi” at 6am,  to create awareness and call on everyone, men , women and institutions to pledge and take concrete steps to accelerate the achievement of gender parity. 

The pledge for parity walk and conference will be honored by Minister of Health, Community Development, Gender, Seniors and Children Hon. Ummy Mwalimu and Her Excellency The Vice President of The Republic Of Tanzania Hon. Samia Suluhu respectively.
