Better late than never, right?
For the most anticipated fashion event every year, Ally Rehmtullah takes the crown. Just for one night, the Tanzania fashion industry gets to experience a well time-conscious organized event that blends fashion and a good party afterwards. We do dress up for this night, woooh!
This year, I went for a green two piece number that was styled by Tanzanian designer and stylists, Irada.
For you all who have been following my fashion evolution, you know how i love a minimal look and shy away from too loud colors or accessories. I was so happy when Irada understood that and kept it at a minimal
The lady in the middle, rocking a black lacey dress...THAT is Irada. Here we are posed up with the Queen of Tanzanian fashion, her Highness Asya Idarous Khamsin. I looove this woman.
Ooooh, back to my outfit....I don't think these pictures are doing it justice. Sooooo, what about a photoshoot that will help you see it better? What do you think?
All in all, I was that Rich Aunty that dropped in to support Ally Rehmtullah as he launched his Kwetukwetu collection for 2020. And I must say, there are pieces that I saw on that runway that I want badly! Let me see if I can grab one or two pieces...will share more details on my Instagram @MissiePopular
Until then,
xoxo
